List of
Activity Types

We expect professionals
to do things.

As a continuous learner, you are usually the reader of an article, the viewer of a video, a podcast listener, the participant of a meetup, etc. But you could also make things, and then you would be the writer of an article, the presenter of a video, the host of a podcast, the organizer of a meetup, etc.

In our programs and workshops, it’s all about earning points to complete objectives. But different roles get a different treatment! The writer of an article usually gets more points for their effort than a reader. Likewise, extra points are earned for the organizer of a meetup compared to those who are merely participants.

On top of that, there is a limit for each role. For example, you cannot earn more than 30% of all your points from watching videos or reading articles at the Booster level. It is required to spread your efforts across different activity types and roles. This percentage drops steadily to 10% at the Expert and Master levels because, at the higher levels, we expect you to spend more time creating and sharing rather than just consuming.

In the following diagram, you can see the maximum percentages per role for the various levels. Note: you can earn extra points as a submitter of new content and meetups, but never more than 5% of the total per level.
