Objectives

As a continuous learner, we expect you to do many things to achieve objectives. A fully completed set of objectives means a completed level and a diploma!

All Shiftup programs consist of many objectives. They are always a subset from our big list of topics (see below). But different programs cover different topics, contain different activities, and there are different numbers of points to earn.

For example, we expect HR people to earn 70 points at the Professional level in Recruitment and Sourcing, and they don’t need to learn about Portfolio Management. However, for Project Managers, it is exactly the other way around.

In many cases, however, there is overlap. For example, we expect workers in all roles to learn about Value Streams and Iterations & Increments, but the number of required points differs among the roles. Product Managers need 70 points at the Professional level, while Managers and Leaders need only 50 points.
